A rural Luverne, MN native, Dr. Tanner Baustian received his B.S. in Animal Science from South Dakota State University in 2019 and then went on to the University of Wisconsin, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.  Dr. Baustian started in our general practice in July of 2023 and has especially enjoyed meeting, and being able to help, clients and their pets. Dr. Baustian has a strong interest in surgery, and the challenges that come with that.

Dr. Baustian grew up on the family farm and continues to help his father and brother with the crops and livestock any chance that he gets.  He was part of 4H and FFA.  He has enjoyed working with animals since he was young, and that is where his love for the veterinary field started.  He enjoys golf and is a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Timberwolves. He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Bella.
